John B. Hickman - Chairman of the Board
John is Chairman of the W.P. Hickman Company, in Asheville, North Carolina. He is the owner of several patents for roof edge design. He is chairman of the SPRI Roof Accessories Subcommittee and serves on the Edge Detail subcommittee of the Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Effects (RICOWI). He has participated at RICOWI as an Affiliate Member since 1994 and has served on its Board of Directors. He is a member of CSI, RCI and NRCA. John holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Engineering from the University of Michigan. E-mail
Scott Hickman - CEO
Scott is the grandson of W.P. Hickman and represents the third generation of active Hickman involvement with the company. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 1986 and joined the company as CEO in 2004. Scott has over 25 years of sales, marketing and business development experience with companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100 firms, including a 13 year stint with Sun Microsystems. Jeff Imes - Chief Operating Officer
Jeff is the COO, part owner and a Director of the W.P. Hickman Co. and has been with the firm since 1996. Jeff also sits on the NC State University-Industrial Extension Service Advisory Board and is active in a number of community organizations. His prior professional experience includes sales and management roles with the Standard Register Company, Bausch and Lomb, United States Surgical Corporation and Synthes U.S.A. In each of these positions, he earned awards for outstanding sales performance. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a Major in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Bob LeClare - Vice President, Sales
Bob has led the sales effort at W.P. Hickman since joining the company in 2002. He has over 20 years of sales, marketing and manufacturing experience in the architectural metal industry. Previous management positions include Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Metal-Era, Inc. and Metal Division Manager for Insulation Systems, a roofing distributor. Bob began his career with his father's company, O.O. McKinley Company, a fabricator of custom architectural products. Bob earned a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University’s School of Technology. E-mail
Rick Rhinehart - Director of Marketing
Rick has been with the W.P. Hickman Company since 1978. During his tenure, Rick has held numerous positions in Production, Sales, and Marketing and is the holder of two patents for roof edge products. Rick is an avid photographer and has personally taken many of the photos used in the company's collateral and website. Rick has a degree in Industrial Management from Haywood Technical College. Carolyn Hembree - Controller
Carolyn has been with the W.P.Hickman Company since 1990 and has been the company Controller since 1995. Her 30 years of finance and accounting experience includes 15 years with the Coca-Cola Company, where she was a Credit Manager. A native of Asheville, Carolyn has been recognized by the city for her community service.E-mail
